"Lois & Clark"

"Lois & Clark" is a one hour romantic action/adventure series based on America's favorite comic book hero, Superman, originaly created in 1938. The television series stars Dean Cain and Terry Hatcher. Set in the fabled city of Metropolis, the series puts a 1990's twist on the time-honored legendary superhero who poses as mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent, and Lois Lane, fearless investigative journalist for The Daily Planet. "Lois & Clark" is a fresh take on a classic and is currently viewed in over 20 countries around the world.
Robert Singer, Brad Buckner and Eugenie Ross-Leming are executive producers of the series. "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," which premiered Sept. 12, 1993, is produced by December 3rd Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television Productions.


LOIS & CLARK, THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN

She's a sophisticated city gal from Metropolis striving to be a 90's superwoman. He's a strong yet sensitive Superman who secretly yearns to be an average guy. "She" is Lois Lane (Teri Hatcher), a top investigative journalist juggling her career ambitions with her personal life. "He" is Clark Kent (Dean Cain), ace reporter for the Daily Planet, struggling to make his relationship with Lois both professional and romantic, in equal parts if possible.

A favorite of fans spanning three generations, the timeless tradition of "Superman" continues its present incarnation in this captivating series artfully blending strong characters, sophisticated dialogue, action-adventure and romance, all skewed toward a 90s sensibility.

Under the watchful eye of the Daily Planet's managing editor, Perry White (Lane Smith), and assisted by fledgling photo-journalist Jimmy Olsen (Justin Whalin), Lois and Clark will once again engage in a battle of wits as they enter a new phase of their tumultuous relationship.

In the series' third exciting season, Lois and Clark will team up to cover the fast-breaking stories of Metropolis, while fighting off criminal activity with the help of a certain superhero.

Meanwhile, the Man of Steel will find himself immersed in a war of his own, fighting a relentless string of evil -- and colorful -- villains, each intent on finding the chink in his armor.

Veteran actors Eddie Jones and K Callan portray Clark/Superman's warm, supportive adoptive parents, Jonathan and Martha Kent.
